Daydreaming on the bike in the Meierij

Your route begins at 't Skupke Schijndel. Beautiful farmhouses and chapels, a lovely small-scale farmland: the mosaic of the Meierij is a wonderful cycling area. You'll regularly pass old farmhouses. You'll soon pass Slot Den Hulst, a tall white-plastered house with a hipped roof. It already existed in the fourteenth century but has been renovated many times over the centuries. On the Den Hulst estate, you'll also find the Jukebox Museum (open only on Sundays). Here you can listen to magnificent examples, which the owner has been restoring since 1980. At the village of Kasteren, you cross the beautifully winding Dommel River. You cycle back through the woods near Schijndel and the charming town of Sint-Oedenrode. Just before the end of the route, you'll pass the site of Ten Houte Castle.
