What a beautiful walk through the green! From Westeroven you discover the unspoiled valley of the Keersop and beautiful tree-lined sand roads. Enjoy!
Turnaround
This route starts at Het Wapen van Westerhoven. Here you can have a nice cup of coffee on the terrace before putting on your walking shoes. Take a look at the map, because you will pass by here again during the walk: perfect for lunch! Soon after departure you walk through the valley of the Keersop, an unspoiled landscape where you can still see hayfields and hedgerows here and there.
Bergeijk
After your stopover in Westerhoven, you walk over sandy roads through tree corsages to Bergeijk, a friendly Brabant village. You walk through a small-scale, typical Kempen landscape of farms, meadows and hedgerows - a wonderfully green and shady coulisse landscape. South of the village you come across the Keersop again. The landscape is much more open here. Via the fish ponds you walk to the Wetering, where you walk right along the water. Enjoy the greenery!
