Kempen-Broek Border Park is a beautiful, tranquil region with lovely old villages and special nature reserves. This route leads you to special discoveries, past nice terraces!

Kempen-Broek
Outside the village you immediately walk into nature. You walk past wet swamps with alder and willow thickets, through oak forests and meadows with wood edges. This is the heart of Grenspark Kempen-Broek. You will also pass the Broekmolen, a beautiful undershot water mill from 1738 that is located on the Abeek.

You walk further, along the Belgian border. Kempen-Broek is located on the northeastern edge of the Kempen Plateau. Here, the confluence of a number of streams created a wet and swampy valley, such as in the Stramprooierbroek. This is the quietest spot in the area. You can interrupt the route at the Nieuw Vosseven Naturally Located restaurant. At Molen De Nijverheid, back in Stramproy, grain is still milled on a voluntary basis: when the blades are turning you can visit the mill!
