Dune walk Egmond Inside

Put on your walking shoes for a walk through the North Holland Dune Reserve at Egmond Binnen. Just before junction 33 you will see a monumental farmhouse from 1936 on the road. Then you walk into nature. Some dune tops here are more than thirty meters high, so that you occasionally have beautiful panoramas. The wind has less to say here. Especially when you walk into the dune forest, you suddenly become aware of the silence. The peace is benevolent, if you hear anything it is a bird startling. In the open dunes you can see many flower and plant species. In June, for example, the large rattle and reed orchid bloom here, so that the area is decorated with shades of yellow and red. The route ends at the Abbey of Egmond.
