Dune walk Egmond Binnen

Put on your walking shoes for a walk through the North Holland Dune Reserve near Egmond Binnen. Just before junction 33, you will see a monumental farmhouse from 1936 on the road. Then you walk into nature. Some dune tops here are more than thirty meters high, so that you occasionally have beautiful panoramas. The wind has less to say here. Especially when you walk into the dune forest, you suddenly become aware of the silence. The peace is soothing, if you hear anything at all, it is a bird that is startled. In the open dunes you will see many species of flowers and plants. In June, for example, the large rattle and reed orchid bloom here, so that the surroundings are decorated with yellow and red tones. The route ends at the Abbey of Egmond.
