Description
A day of cycling through the Brabantse Kempen means a day of enjoyment. Here you will find rural tranquility, vast forests and friendly villages.
Middelbeers
Lage Mierde is the first village on your route. Here you can admire, among other things, the beautiful fifteenth-century village church. A little later you drive through Netersel and Hulsel, two of the famous Brabantse Acht Zalheden. In Middelbeers you pass at a distance of 100 meters the Nieuwe and the Oude Sint-Willibrorduskerk from 1500.
The Utrecht
Further on you drive into the woods of the Spreeuwelse Heide. Take a deep breath and enjoy the fresh air and the silence. You then pass through a number of villages such as Esbeek and Baarschot. You can see some Kempen long-gable farms here. Just before the end of the route you enter the beautiful forests of Landgoed De Utrecht. This unique estate was developed in 1898 as an investment by life insurance company De Utrecht.
