Description

This route takes you through the IJsselvallei and through beautiful Apeldoorn. The Wenum Mill is the first attraction. This beautiful fourteenth-century watermill is located on the Wenumse Beek. On the cycle path along the Apeldoorns Canal you can enjoy the rural surroundings in peace. The kilometers seem to pass by themselves here. In the IJsselvallei you pass through a few old villages, such as Teuge. Here and there you will see hall farms characteristic of this region. You also pass through Apeldoorn. On the eastern edge is the Apeldoornsche Bosch, a former Jewish psychiatric institution. Further on you will see the many stately Art Nouveau houses for which Apeldoorn is known. You also pass the Grote Kerk from 1892.
