Get some fresh air around Zevenbergen

The route starts on the edge of Zevenbergen. A charming town where you will see Fleur, a flour mill from 1841. In the countryside you drive through a landscape of vast grasslands, streams and the river Mark. You can get a breath of fresh air on the car-free dikes. Stop in Fijnaart at De Fendertse Hoeve for a cup of coffee! Just outside Fijnaart is the Oude Molen, a flour mill from 1845. Further on you pass through Willemstad. In the old center you can taste the rich history of this former fortified town. Via the Oostdijk you drive to Noordschans, a village named after the former Fort Hollandia, which was lost in a flood in 1682. On the edge of Klundert you can see some sixteenth-century defenses of the Defense Line of the Hollands Diep.
