Gelderland 9 | A religious border: Eibergen – Meddo

The route runs from Eibergen via Rekken to the German border. You cycle through a piece of Münsterland to the village of Meddo, north of Winterswijk. In this region there are still traces of the religious border between Gelderland and Münsterland, which emerged in the seventeenth century. In the starting point of Eibergen, Museum de Scheper tells about the past of the landscape and residents of Berkelland.
