In the Veluwezoom National Park you will find plenty of natural beauty and silence. You drive along the path that separates the Rozendaalse Veld from the Rheder- and Worthrhederheide. This large and hilly heathland is the heart of the Veluwezoom. A little later you drive into the Loenense Bos. How beautiful it is here! Just outside Loenen you pass Kasteel Ter Horst. Around 1557 Wijnand Hackfort, the then mayor of Arnhem, had his summer and hunting residence built here. You pass Huis te Eerbeek, which originally dates back to the fourteenth century. The history of the nearby Korenmolen dates back to 1395. Further on, stop at Restaurant Houtplaats for a bite to eat or a drink! From the almost 90-metre-high Posbank you have a magnificent view. The route ends at Buitenplaats Beekhuizen.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
