Silent woods
The route starts at Restaurant Campman. From here you can walk straight into the woods of the Renkums Beekdal. This hilly area forms a connecting zone between the Rhine and the Veluwe. The wheels of water mills once turned here to make grain, rapeseed oil and paper. Now you walk along splashing streams, wet grasslands and through dense forests. What a silence you experience here! Ideal for charging the battery.
Organic Vineyard
You pass the Organic Vineyard Wageningse Berg. It is the first organic vineyard in the Netherlands. In 1998, the first vines were planted on this vineyard. Further on you will pass a striking water tower from 1948. Its predecessor was destroyed in 1944, because it was used as a watchtower over the Rhine. After your walk you can enjoy the natural beauty on the terrace of Restaurant Campman while enjoying a drink and snack.
