Special places in the Lunterse Buurtbos

Meulunteren is located on the edge of the Gelderse Vallei and the woods of the Veluwe. This route takes you into the Lunterse Buurtbos. You will pass a number of special places on and around the Goudsberg.

Lunterse Neighborhood Forest
You walk straight into a spur of the Lunterse Buurtbos. And you notice that immediately: it is nice and fresh and quiet here. Occasionally the path slopes, which makes your vistas and your walk that little bit more exciting. On the Vijfsprongweg you can walk comfortably under the shady canopy, while looking out over the fields.

Goudsberg timeline staircase
In a grove in the fields you pass a Germanic well. It is a reconstruction of a water point that stood here around 300 BC to supply the comb fields at the Wekeromse Zand with water. Since the summer of 2017, a Timeline staircase has been running from De Grote Zandgroeve to the Goudsberg. For some, the Lindeboomsberg is the geographical center of the Netherlands. So there is plenty to see and experience here!
