Fancy a day of cycling through vast nature reserves and characteristic towns? Then drive this route from Oirschot. Variety is key!
Old Tower
From the starting point you can drive straight into the Kampina and the adjacent Oisterwijkse Vennen. Two extensive nature reserves where you can fully enjoy the heathland and forests. Once you have crossed the Essche Stroom, you will pass Nemerlaer Castle. In Haaren you will not only see regional farms, but also the Old Tower from 1427. The accompanying church collapsed in 1780.
De Lind
Oisterwijk received city rights as early as the thirteenth century. You can see the rich history when you cycle across De Lind, the old marketplace that has the status of a protected cityscape. There are beautiful mansions and a beautiful town hall from 1899. Moergestel is a village where you can still experience the characteristic Brabant friendliness. Further on you drive along the Wilhelmina Canal through the forest of Landgoed de Baest. How beautiful Brabant is!
