The route starts at Buitenplaats Beekhuizen on De Veluwezoom, the oldest national park in the Netherlands. Stop off at Restaurant Houtplaats for a snack or a drink! You continue cycling on the path that separates the Rozendaalse Veld from the Rheder and Worthrhederheide. This large and hilly heathland area is the heart of the Veluwezoom. Then you cycle many kilometers through the woods. You can fully enjoy old deciduous trees along wide avenues and fragrant conifers through which the cycle path meanders. Doesburg is one of the most beautifully preserved medieval towns in the Netherlands, here you will find the Lalique Museum. Further on you will pass the Bingerden Estate, one of the oldest country estates in the Netherlands. Biljoen Castle was built around 1530 by Karel van Gelre, the Duke of Gelre. What a picture!
