Dumb
The route starts at De Helden van Kien, a cozy catering pavilion in the beautiful De Kienehoef park. Enjoy something tasty here before you walk to the old heart of Sint-Oedenrode. The village center is wedged between the Dommel, the river that you cross several times. On the Markt you will see some monumental mansions. What a nice atmosphere!
Giant lump
The Giant Klomp is located in the Dommelplantsoen, a reminder of Sint-Oedenrode's past as a center of the clog industry. The Giant Clog was once made of wood, but due to vandalism it was replaced by a concrete one. In the countryside you can walk along leafy roads between fields and fields. So enjoy a nice, quiet walk! At De Helden van Kien it's time for a drink and a snack!
