You can of course get a breath of fresh air in Zeeland. Especially if you like peace and space, the island of Noord-Beveland is ideal for a beautiful bike ride.

Picturesque Colijnsplaat
Shortly after boarding, you enter Colijnsplaat. In the Voorstraat you can enjoy the historic atmosphere through the many beautiful monumental buildings. In the polder with its vast grasslands and farmland it is wonderfully quiet cycling. The kilometers seem to pass by themselves here. On the horizon you regularly see the characteristic image of a straight road lined with tall trees. What a beautiful landscape this is!

All Saints Flood
In Kortgene is the fifteenth-century church tower: the only medieval building that survived the All Saints' Flood of 1532 (which flooded all of North Beveland). At Restaurant de Korenbeurs on Landgoed Rijckholt you can get off for a delicious meal on the cozy terrace. On the north side of the island you can see some inlays: pieces of land that once served as an extra buffer for a possible dike breach. These polders consist of wet marshes or reed beds, a beautiful view.
