From the Grevelingenmeer to Zierikzee

A cycling tour past well-known spots and unknown gems, from the beautiful town of Zierikzee and the vast Grevelingenmeer to the special villages in the polder. Your route starts at Hotel Bru. In Oosterland you will pass some sights, such as the Judocus Church from 1400. Since the choir burned down in 1612, the tower has been separate from the church. Further on is the Oosterlandse Molen, a flour mill from 1752. In the middle of the polder you drive past Steenzwaan, a former river stream. Get off the bike and explore Zierikzee! In the hamlet of Schuddebeurs, numerous capital houses with associated parks were built during the Golden Age. Brouwershaven has a nice marina. You will also pass through the picturesque Dreischor, a real ring village. Here you will see beautiful monumental buildings around the St. Adrian's Church from 1450.
