Immediately after you start you will pass a few interesting places. The Wekeromse Zand near Ede was already inhabited in the Iron Age. The Germanic Well is a several-metre-deep pit where farmers fetched water at that time. A little further on you will see the largest Celtic fields complex in the country. Celtic fields are prehistoric fields consisting of fields of approximately 40 x 40 meters, surrounded by walls. They belong to an agricultural system that was practiced throughout northwestern Europe, from Sweden to Ireland. Via Otterlo and Hoenderloo you cycle to Deelen Air Base Museum, another interesting place to get off. Just after Warnsborn Landgoed you can take a break at Van der Valk Hotel Arnhem.
