The varied landscape of the Achterhoek between Hengelo Gld-Ruurlo-Borculo-Vorden.

This route takes you through the woods of the Het Zand estate, along the Veengoot stream, through the farming landscape of the Ruurlose Broek. From Ruurlose Broek you cross the road between Groenlo and Ruurlo and cycle along the De Slinge stream to Borculo. You then cycle from Borculo to Ruurlo, through the woods and between the fields. In Ruurlo you will pass the Agneta mill. On the route between Ruurlo and Hengelo you will pass 3 of the 8 castles of Vorden, namely the De Wiersse, Ontstein and Kieftskamp castles.
