The varied landscape of the Achterhoek between Hengelo Gld-Ruurlo-Borculo-Vorden.

This route takes you through the woods of the Het Zand estate, along the stream Veengoot, through the farmland of the Ruurlose Broek. From the Ruurlose Broek you cross the road between Groenlo and Ruurlo and cycle to Borculo along the stream De Slinge. You then cycle from Borculo to Ruurlo, through the woods and between the fields. In Ruurlo you will pass the Agneta mill. On the route between Ruurlo and Hengelo you will pass 3 of the 8 castles of Vorden, namely the castles De Wiersse, Ontstein and Kieftskamp.
