This route takes you from Kaag through the bulb fields and dunes along the North Sea. You will also pass through the picturesque old center of Noordwijk.
Keukenhof
In the Lisserpoelpolder you pass the Lisserpoelmolen, a polder mill from 1676. Further on you pass the Keukenhof. As a flower lover you will of course want to stop here and experience all the scents and colors. You will also pass Lake Como, as the Oosterduinse Meer recreation area is called by the locals.
Old Jeroenskerk
A little later you cycle through the forests and dunes on the coast. In the background you occasionally hear the surf of the North Sea, a sound that will be music to the ears of many. The picturesque old part of Noordwijk enjoys a protected village view. For example, you see the Gothic Oude Jeroenskerk, which dates from the fifteenth century. Warmond's Dorpsstraat also still exudes the atmosphere of times gone by. What a beautiful cultural history!
