Description
A walking route for gourmets: past a cozy pancake house to a beer brewery. With the sloping paths of the Maasduinen National Park, a tasty snack goes in - and you've earned that beer at the end of the day!
The Hammer
From here you can walk into the Maasduinen National Park. The route leads you past a nice spot to take a break: Jachthut op den Hamer, on the edge of Landgoed de Hamert. It is a pancake house, but you can also get a sandwich or just a cup of coffee, although a pancake will definitely go in!
Brewery visit
You walk a bit along the Maas, which is responsible for the creation of this nature reserve. The Maasduinen were formed in the last ice age, when drifting river sand formed dunes. If you still have time after the route, you can take a tour at the Hertog Jan Brewery, along the authentic copper brewing kettles.
