Around the Markiezaatstad Bergen op Zoom you can take a beautiful bike ride through the varied nature. First you can loosen up your legs in the rural area near the Belgian Essen. Further on you cycle through the sixteenth-century estate Wouwse Plantage. It is also quiet cycling in the adjacent estates Lievensberg and Zoomland. In the beautiful city center of Bergen op Zoom you can enjoy the many monumental buildings. On the Grote Markt you can see, among other things, the Sint-Gertrudiskerk and the Town Hall, the oldest part of which dates from 1403. The Markiezenhof is a late Gothic city palace from 1485. On the Binnenschelde you can enjoy a coffee with something tasty at Het Strandhuys. Further on you come through Hoogerheide. Here you can have a drink on a terrace at Het Raedthuys, before you cycle back to Huijbergen.
