Around the Marquisate city of Bergen op Zoom, you'll enjoy a beautiful bike ride through diverse nature. First, you'll stretch your legs in the countryside near Essen, Belgium. Further on, you'll cycle through the 16th-century Wouwse Plantage estate. The neighboring Lievensberg and Zoomland estates are also a peaceful place to cycle. In the beautiful city center of Bergen op Zoom, you'll admire the many historic buildings. On the Grote Markt (main market square), you'll see, among other things, the St. Gertrude's Church and the Town Hall, the oldest part of which dates back to 1403. The Markiezenhof is a late-Gothic city palace dating from 1485. Along the Binnenschelde, you can enjoy a coffee and a treat at Het Strandhuys. Further on, you'll pass through Hoogerheide, where you can relax on a terrace at Het Raedthuys before cycling back to Huijbergen.
