Tour of Driebruggen, Zwammerdam and Woerden

From Café Custwijc, you'll embark on a scenic ride through the expansive surroundings of Woerden. First, you'll explore the Reeuwijkse Plassen lakes. From the saddle, you'll have beautiful views over the rippling water. Further on, you'll cycle through a landscape of expansive meadows, ditches, and willows. You'll regularly pass a characteristic old farmhouse. From the Meijepad, you'll have a lovely view of the Zuideinderplas lake, part of the Nieuwkoopse Plassen lakes. Along the Meije river, you'll see the almost sixty-meter-high white water tower from 1932. You'll pass through Zegveld, a village that only became accessible through road construction in the 1960s. Further on, you'll pass through the historic heart of Woerden. You'll cycle through the polder back to Driebruggen.
