Geldrop-Zuid Leenderheide / Kreijl / Rul

There is a recreation area with a spacious parking lot on the Zwembadweg in Geldrop. Moreover, it is close to the A67 exit Geldrop. An ideal place to start.

NB:

From junction 69, walk towards junction 39 until you reach a small bridge. There you must cross the bridge, then follow the bend to the left and take the first exit on the right. You will then end up in Waleweinlaan. At the end of that road, turn right, so that you are back on the junction route (direction 46). 

DIRECTIONS:

This route runs through the peripheral areas of the Strabrechtse Heide, as well as through the outlying areas of Geldrop. Even though part of the route runs fairly close to the A67, this is a beautiful, fairly quiet walk with many surprising views. It is certainly advisable to take sturdy shoes with you, because it is quite boggy, especially in the area near De Zegge (there is also a so-called Boot Route...) and the paths there are also quite uneven.
