Bemelerberg
You first walk to the De Bemelerberg nature reserve. In addition to beautiful views, you will find barren grasslands and calcareous grasslands here. Many special flowers and plants grow there, a feast for the eyes! Along the footpath are some old marl quarries. In Terblijt you can see some monumental farms. It will not surprise you that they are built with marl.

Geulhemmerberg
From afar you can already see the beautiful Sint-Monulphus and Gondulphuskerk in Berg. Just past this church you descend the Geulhemmerberg. It is wonderful to walk in this quiet hillside forest. Every now and then you have beautiful vistas. You pass the Geulhemmmergroeve, which is only open around Christmas. A little later you climb back to the village of Berg via the Brakkenberg. After such a beautiful walk you will probably enjoy something delicious at Brasserie-Restaurant de Potkachel.
