Shaking Fair
The route starts in Schuddebeurs. Schuddebeurs is a wooded nature reserve that is freely accessible, a perfect location to start the walk. While walking you can see woodpeckers, owls, many songbirds, frogs, salamanders and even polecats, roe deer and weasels. In the spring the snowdrop and the wood anemone grow and in the late summer the wood anthorn and the flowering ivy provide the necessary insects and butterflies.

Zierikzee
It is not without reason that Zierikzee enjoys a protected cityscape. There are no less than 568 monuments, so take the time for this city walk to taste the unique historical atmosphere here. The city obtained its wealth not only through fishing, but also through trade and industry. Already in the Middle Ages it was a large walled city with six gates. The Zuidhavenpoort is one of them: it served to protect the southern harbor entrance.
