The route starts at the tourist office in Rheden. From here you can cycle straight into the Veluwezoom National Park. This is an ideal nature reserve if you want to enjoy a day of peace and natural beauty. You cycle through vast deciduous and coniferous forests and endless heathlands. One of the most beautiful places is the almost ninety meter high Posbank. You have a beautiful view of this moraine. In clear weather you can even look more than 20 kilometers away and see the hills of the Rijk van Nijmegen. Halfway through the route you cycle past Hotel Restaurant De Loenermark in picturesque Loenen. Stretch your legs here and enjoy real farmhouse ice cream and a drink on the terrace. You then cycle back to Rheden via the beautiful Eerbeek, Laag-Soeren and Dieren.
