This cycling route starts and ends at Hotel Mercure Zwolle, where you can enjoy a nice cup of coffee before you set off. This route takes you through the historic city center, but also through some beautiful nature reserves just outside the city. In addition to green, you will also see a lot of blue on this route: Zwolle is located at a crossroads of waterways! You will pass through the Engels Werk, a large city park that was built around 1830 on former fortifications. It is furnished in the romantic English landscape style. You cross the IJssel via a ferry. From the dike you have a beautiful view of the river and the floodplains. The nice Hanseatic town of Hattem with its beautiful old center and a ferry round off the tour.
