Fancy a long bike ride through the beautiful rolling Maasduinen? This route takes you past all the nice places, from Kasteel Arcen to Landgoed de Hamert, the Wellsche Heide and the Reindersmeer.

The Hammer
For example, you can see the ruins of the Schanstoren, a fifteenth-century remnant of the former fortifications of Arcen. Further on you will discover Landgoed de Hamert with its fens, heaths and forests.

Reindersmeer
You then drive for many kilometers through the woods and heaths of the Maasduinen National Park. Along the way you can grab a terrace at De Wellsche Hut. Just before Wellerlooi you pass Eetcafé Het Centrum. Further on is Pannenkoekenhuis Jachthut op den Hamer.

The Wellsche Hut has been around for over 100 years. The menu includes sandwiches, salads, pancakes, steak and much more. Not such a big appetite? Then you can also have a short coffee break here with a piece of Limburgse vlaai. Let your legs rest for a while, so you can get back on the road refreshed afterwards. Adjacent to the restaurant you will find a small motorhome with space for 5 motorhomes. De Wellsche Hut is located on the edge of De Maasduinen National Park: a varied nature reserve full of opportunities for cyclists and walkers.

Eetcafe Het Centrum is centrally located in Wellerlooi. You can easily park here for free and dive straight into nature. But first, of course, enjoy a delicious cup of coffee before you visit the De Maasduinen National Park. Landgoed de Hamert and the Wellsche Heide are also part of this vast nature reserve on the Maas. Whether you go for a walk or cycle, on your return you can relax on the terrace and replenish your energy with a good meal.

Jachthut op den Hamer is located on the edge of De Maasduinen National Park. In the vicinity of this pancake house you will find Landgoed de Hamert with dunes, moors and many more beautiful landscapes. A wonderful area for countless bike rides and walks. Got an appetite? Take a seat at the Jachthut and enjoy a cup of coffee, a sandwich, a salad or of course a pancake. You can choose from sweet and savory pancakes here and there is an extra selection of pancakes for children.
