Tour of Geldrop and the Strabrechtse Heide

Your route starts at Boutique Hotel Four. After cycling through the woods for a while, you suddenly cycle onto the Strabrechtse Heide: a beautiful transition! You might come across the large herd of Kempen sheep that still graze the heath. You pass a path that leads you to the birdwatching hut at the Beuven, the largest fen in the country. A little further on you cycle past Someren-Heide, a reclamation village that once lay on the border between Staats-Brabant and the Spanish Opper-Gelre. Here too you can admire an old border post: the so-called Keijepoal, on the Kerkendijk.
