Walking through Helvoirt and surroundings

From Helvoirt you walk into a varied landscape of dense forests, swamps and vast grasslands. Put on your walking shoes and discover how peaceful it is here. During the walk you will pass Zwijnsbergen Castle. The main building dates from the seventeenth century and is privately owned. Then you walk through a small-scale landscape with centuries-old oak forests and small flower-filled meadows. Just past Biezenmortel you pass the small-scale nature reserve De Leemkuilen. You will find a small-scale landscape of moist forest, shrubs and wet grasslands. It is wonderfully peaceful to walk in the agricultural countryside of Helvoirt. Ideal for catching up with your fellow hiker(s).
