Village route Oisterwijk and Kampina

First, you enter Oisterwijk, which received city rights as early as the thirteenth century. Its rich history is evident as you cycle past De Lind, the old market town, which has protected townscape status. There are beautiful mansions and a magnificent town hall dating from 1899. The centuries-old linden tree is also a sight to behold. In Haaren, besides local farms, you'll see the Old Tower dating from 1427. The accompanying church collapsed in 1780. Further on stands the centuries-old Nemerlaer Castle. In Lennisheuvel, you'll cycle past monumental farmhouses of the Kempen long-gabled style. In the Kampina region, you'll enjoy the forests and expansive heathland.
