Village route Oisterwijk and Kampina

This cycling route starts at Boshuys Hermitage with its beautiful terrace on the water. In the countryside you can fully enjoy nature. First you drive into Oisterwijk, which was given city rights in the thirteenth century. You can see the rich history when you cycle across De Lind, the old marketplace that has the status of a protected cityscape. There are beautiful mansions and a beautiful town hall from 1899. The centuries-old lime tree is also worth a visit. In Haaren you will not only see regional farms, but also the Old Tower from 1427. The accompanying church collapsed in 1780. Further on is the centuries-old Nemerlaer Castle. In Lennisheuvel you cycle past monumental farms of the Kempen long-gable type. In the Kampina you can enjoy the forests and the vast heathland.
