From Boxtel through the Brabant forests

Just outside Boxtel, you can enjoy some wonderful cycling. First, you'll enter the woods bordering De Kampina. The adjacent Oisterwijkse Vennen also offers delightful cycling among the conifers. You'll pass several of the fens for which this nature reserve is famous. Further on, you'll cycle through the Mortelen, a small-scale bocage landscape of poplar groves, coniferous forests, and grasslands and farmland. It feels like you've stepped back in time to the traditional Brabant countryside before the land consolidation. In Liempde, time seems to have stood still in the Dorpsstraat. Cycle along the Dommel River back to the starting point.
