Your route starts at De Oude Herberg. From Vught you can easily cycle into rural Brabant to Boxtel. Enjoy the Dommel and the view of the centuries-old Nieuw-Herlaer castle along the way. Stapelen Castle is located in Boxtel aan de Dommel and was built in 1293. Then you will discover two beautiful nature reserves: the Kampina and the Oisterwijk forests and fens. Two vast, connected nature reserves where you can enjoy many kilometers of forests, fens and heathland. Oisterwijk itself is also a nice place to take a look around. You will pass the St. Peter's Church, a neo-Gothic cross basilica from 1897 designed by Pierre Cuypers. The area around the church is so beautiful that it has been declared a protected village sight. A perfect spot to enjoy a drink on a terrace!
