There are few towns as beautiful as Veere. Discover the nicest places with this route through the heart of the town. You also pass through the wonderfully quiet green outside area.
Veere is one of the most picturesque fortified towns in the Netherlands, but the surrounding area is also well worth a visit. Here you walk through the quiet polders of the Walcheren Canal to the Veerse Kreek and the Vest van Veere. The creek with its many foothills was created at the end of the Second World War during the inundation of Walcheren. Today it is a quiet and beautiful nature reserve where it is wonderful to walk.
