Winding along the Linge from Buren

From Buren you cycle through the Betuwe to Soelen Castle. The earliest mention of the castle dates from 1263. In the eighteenth century, the park around Soelen was transformed into the English landscape style. This park can be visited - so just get off! You cycle further through the fruit orchards to Geldermalsen. Here you cross the Linge and cycle via Tricht to Landgoed Mariënwaerdt. You will see many old buildings here as you cycle along the long avenues past fields and through forests. Then you drive through De Regulieren. This nature reserve consists of a mix of flower-rich grasslands and haylands, poplar forests and willow banks. Your route ends in Buren, a city full of Orange history.
