Noord-Beveland is easy to explore on foot. This beautiful walk takes you through Kamperland and the surrounding polders.

Cozy Camperland
The route starts at Verscentrum Sandee. Before you go for a walk, you can stock up on something tasty for the road. Kamperland was founded around the year 1000, but disappeared from under water during the infamous All Saints' Flood - just like the rest of Noord-Beveland. It took more than sixty years before people dared to reclaim the island bit by bit. On the edge of Kamperland you will pass Landgoed Kogelhof with its striking villa.

Charge the battery
In the polder you can fully enjoy the high Zeeland skies. The clouds rarely stand still, tossed as they are by the ever-active sea breeze. You also have beautiful views over vast meadows. Many flowers grow along the edges of the fields in the summer. What a nice quiet walk here. Ideal for charging the proverbial battery. Will you grab a terrace at Verscentrum Sandee?

Verscentrum Sandee is located in Kamperland, the largest town on Noord-Beveland. In the store you will find many vegetables and fruit from our own cultivation. Fresh bread rolls are baked daily in the kitchen and meals are prepared in the store, nice for a picnic on the way. You can enjoy homemade apple pie with whipped cream on the sunny terrace, while the shop offers regional products and souvenirs from Zeeland. Verscentrum Sandee is a bicycle cafe and therefore has a bicycle charging point and other facilities especially for walkers and cyclists. Nice to join in a tour around the Veerse Meer!
