Dunes and spheres between Castricum and Egmond

Your cycling route starts at Bike Totaal Kruijswijk Tweewielers. You set off from Castricum. First of all, you set course for the dunes, because they attract! A beautiful cycle path leads you straight through the dunes of the North Holland Dune Reserve: one of the Netherlands' largest nature reserves. It immediately puts you in the holiday mood. If you want to know more about this special area, get off at the De Hoep Visitor Center before taking the cycle path. Only just before Egmond aan Zee do you turn again and leave the dunes behind you. It is also beautiful here: you drive to Limmen, the center of bulb cultivation in this region. In Limmen you can visit the Hortus Bulborum, a unique museum garden where more than 4,000 different spring bulbous plants have been collected.
