From Groesbeek you can take a cycling tour through Germany, the Gelderse Poort and the forests near Berg en Dal. A day full of variety, natural beauty and sights.
Der Duffel nature reserve After you have jumped on the saddle, you cycle through the rural area to the beautiful old German village of Kranenburg. Behind this village you drive into Der Duffel, a nature reserve with small forests, wet grasslands and hedges. It is wonderfully quiet here in this barely inhabited area.
Gelderse Poort Back in the Netherlands you cycle through the Gelderse Poort, a relatively new nature reserve in the Nijmegen region. From the dike you drive many kilometers along the floodplains of the Waal. You pass many old farms and the Duffelt flour mill from 1867. Just before Beek you cycle onto the Nijmegen moraine and drive into the woods. What a wonderfully peaceful cycling experience here!
