Tour of the farm shop and lookout tower

Your route starts at De Groenerie Farm. This loop is great for children, as it starts at a child-friendly address and passes a beautiful lookout tower along the way, overlooking the Kootwijkerzand. You'll also thoroughly enjoy the tranquil forests, expansive heathlands, and the Gelderse Vallei with its beautiful old farmhouses. Kootwijk Forestry offers plenty of variety: one moment you'll cycle under the canopy of deciduous trees, the next you'll ride among fragrant conifers. Streams, meadows, fields: in the Gelderse Vallei, you'll cycle through a completely different landscape. You'll regularly pass thatched farmhouses. Just outside Harskamp, you'll pass the Lana Mariana, a grain mill dating from 1739 whose striking name is unknown. The mill is now used as a residence.
