Cycling through the beautiful Twente countryside

Cycling in Twente never gets boring, no matter how often you visit. This route takes you through Het Springendal and beautiful villages such as Vasse, Tubbergen and the city of Ootmarsum. You start with a cup of coffee at Hotel Cafe Restaurant De Landmarke. As a cyclist, you will immediately feel at home in Twente. The centuries-old small-scale essen landscape with its authentic Saxon farms seems to have been specially created for cyclists. It is wonderful to cycle for miles here. In the nature reserve Het Springendal you can indulge your romantic heart at the beautiful ponds and narrow streams in the middle of the quiet forest. Further on you will pass the Grote Geesterse Molen, a corn mill from 1867. Time seems to have stood still in Ootmarsum. Feel free to get off to enjoy the characteristic atmosphere.
