Vestingstad Bredevoort

7126 AZ Aalten

Stroll through the narrow streets of the old fortified town of Bredevoort and discover the many historic buildings that stand here. In this Achterhoek town many old crafts are still really practiced for a living and that is why it sometimes seems as if you are going back in time here. That makes a visit to Bredevoort quite an experience.

Korenburgerveen

Winterswijk

Together with the Meddose Veen and the Vragenderveen, the Korenburgerveen forms a large raised moor area. Due to its vulnerability, the area is only accessible via a marked walking route. This path is often very muddy. That is why a boardwalk has been constructed and so-called club paths made of tree trunks prevent you from sinking into the mud. Boots are recommended in wet seasons!
