Heeswijk Castle reflects almost a thousand years of power, pride and culture of the Brabant elite. Baron André van den Bogaerde, then King's Governor in Brabant, gave it its current allure. In' Brasserie het Koetshuis', with a beautiful terrace within the walls of the castle, you can enjoy a delicious brunch, lunch, high tea, barbecue or dinner. The Brasserie is part of the Carriage House, which is a few centuries younger than the medieval part of the castle. In the last decades of the last century, this part was the home of the Baroness. The apple pie is said to be the tastiest in Brabant.
