Natuurpoort de Roovertsche Leij is located on the edge of the Gorp & Roovert estate, which is part of the Kempen Estates. The river'De Roovertsche Leij\\\' flows here through 1200 hectares of forests, grasslands, fens and agricultural lands. In addition to four old farms, the'Castle\\\' and the'Paradise Bridge\\\' can also be admired. The latter is named after Johannes Goropius Becanius (1519-1572) who assumed that the Earthly Paradise must have been located here.
