A nice walk near Hardenberg

Put on your walking shoes for a trip through the varied landscape just outside Hardenberg. You walk through forests, flowery meadows and a moist heath. What immediately stands out here: the silence!

Hair mill
The route starts at Holiday Park't Rheezerwold. A place to stay on the edge of the woods, ideally suited if you want to refuel. You walk along the edge of the forest in the direction of Hardenberg. While walking you look out over the flowery meadows. Occasionally a bird of prey skims through the air, looking for prey. You pass the striking hull of the Haarmolen, a flour mill from 1831 that was dismantled in 1950.

Forestry Hardenberg
In the outskirts of Heemserveen it is nice to continue. The Kroondijk is largely surrounded by birch trees on one side: a beautiful picture! A little later you walk into Boswachterij Hardenberg. In these former reclamation forests you can still experience the tranquility of bygone times. Ideal for charging the proverbial battery. Is your nice walk done?
