From Middelburg to Zoutelande

Cycling on Walcheren is a joy. You drive through a wonderfully quiet landscape full of interesting old villages. And of course a beautiful coastline! The route starts on the edge of Middelburg. You soon enter Landgoed Ter Hooge. Here you see a park in English landscape style. Along the way you can take a rest at Holiday Park de Meerpaal and Brasserie de Meerpaal for a nice lunch, or just a cup of coffee. A little later you drive through the woods that lie behind the high dunes: it is wonderfully quiet here. In the village center of Biggekerke and Meliskerke you can take a step back in time. You will see centuries-old characteristic churches, houses and farms. Just before the terminus you will pass the estate where Huis der Boede from 1740 is located.
