Your route starts at Brasserie De 3 Heeren. Dolmen D18 near Rolde has been restored, making it look neater than most dolmens in the area. This structure has seven capstones, fourteen supporting stones, two closing stones, and two gate side stones. Dolmen D17 is a ruin. This dolmen dates from between 3400 and 3200 BC and consists of eight capstones, 15 supporting stones, two closing stones, and two gate side stones. Het Dorp van Bartje is a nice place for a break; here you will find exhibitions featuring prehistoric finds discovered in this area. Molen Rolde was built in 1873. Over the centuries, the mill has been restored several times. The mill is still operational, and a volunteer miller sets it in motion from time to time.
