Around Uden you cycle through the beautiful Brabant country of forests and farmlands. In addition to natural beauty, you will find hamlets and villages with old farms and characteristic churches.
Goorse Forests
The route starts at La Compagnie. This cozy café in the middle of Boekel will be celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2017! An extra nice reason to enjoy a drink and a snack here. From Boekel you then drive into the natural Brabant countryside. You cycle a few kilometers through the Aa stream valley, after which you cross the forests of Het Hurkske. Further on you pass through the quiet Goorse Forests where there are still centuries-old trees.
The Maashorst
After your pit stop, the Bedafse Bergen and part of the extensive De Maashorst nature reserve await you. The cycle path leads you through coniferous and deciduous forests and along an extensive heathland. How wonderful it is to cycle in Brabant's nature!
