Castle Renswoude
Just before Renswoude Castle you walk through the protected village of Renswoude. An idyllic environment of old farms, hedgerows and lowland streams. Renswoude Castle dates from 1350. You can take a look at the front and daydream. The cottage is privately inhabited, so not accessible. In the castle forest you pass three monumental Italian benches from 1900 at a three-fork. At the Schalm you can still see two old casemates in the landscape.
