Your route starts at pavilion 8/Holiday Park de Nollen.
Julianadorp is a wonderful area for cycling, along the sea and polders. First, head north and follow the coast all the way to the edge of Den Helder. Along the way, you'll pass the 17-meter-high steel lighthouse, Groote Kaap, which is still used to signal waterways. Near Den Helder, you'll find small nature reserves near the sea, such as the Mariëndal. Low dunes and dune grasslands now grow on the former bulb fields. Behind the dunes, you'll find expansive polders and picturesque villages. You'll also cycle through Noorderhaven: once a harbor on the northern tip of the former island of Callantsoog, now home to forests and a care center.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
